Kindness Ranch Adoption Application

Thank you for considering adopting a companion animal from Kindness Ranch!

Please fill out this adoption application in its entirety and answer each question honestly. This will better assist us in helping you select a compatible dog, cat, or rabbit. Our farm animals are not adoptable.

Please keep in mind that it is extremely important to us that we make good matches. Submitting an application on a specific animal does not guarantee that you are first in line or that you will be approved for that animal.

PLEASE NOTE - WE REQUIRE ALL APPROVED ADOPTERS TO COME TO OUR SANCTUARY TO MEET THE ANIMALS THEY ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING ON THEIR SCHEDULED ADOPTION DAY. We are located in Hartville, Wyoming but have guest yurt accommodations.

Our adoption fees are as follows: $200 for Dogs, $50 for Cats

All of our animals come fully vaccinated and altered (spayed/neutered)

 

Our Adoption Process:

-Once you submit a completed application, the Companion Animal Manager will email you to setup a phone interview. Please allow up to 48 hours for an email response. We will discuss our adoption process and answer any questions you may have.

-We will then conduct a video home check, or you will need to provide photos of your residence and fence.

-We will then call your Veterinarian Reference and any other references provided.

-Once you are approved, we will add you to the waitlist. Please note there is currently a small waiting list, and we are reaching out to people in order of approved applications. 

-We will reach out to you to schedule your adoption meet n’ greet.

For your adoption application to be considered you must:

  • Have a fenced yard. Our dogs are former research animals, and some are often too scared to walk on a leash for the first few months.
  • Your current animals must be up to date on all vaccinations and flea/tick/heartworm preventative.
  • Your current animals must be spayed or neutered - unless due to medical reasons/age.
  • Have the knowledge and consent of your landlord if you rent your home.
